SAS + Maple Leaf Foods + B2B Promotional Piece
Asked by SAS Canada to get the attention of Maple Leaf Foods, we created a custom mailer that came in a familiar format to the target company. This tongue-in-cheek piece appeared to be vacuum sealed Lunch meat with Maple Leaf-esque product labeling, but Instead of actual meat, the inside products were leave-behind drink coasters with a foil stamped meat pattern on the front and SAS product information on the back. We mimicked Maple Leaf Foods product stickering but branded it with SAS identity and messaging. This was a short-run job that was digitally printed, hand foil stamped and individually vacuum sealed with a basic food saver.
We foiled stamped the SAS “S” on the outside of the packaging so when the product was opened from an envelope in a bright office environment the eye was drawn to the foil immediately as it reflects light.
